Hope United's Dessert Extravaganza is a very special event! We are excited to share the work being accomplished in our community and the lives being changed by this vital work. You and your guests will hear testimonies from individuals whose lives have benefited and been transformed by Hope United’s ministries. You will enjoy dessert, fellowship, an opportunity to learn even have fun! NEW this year Silent Auction Fundraiser featuring a variety of Gift Baskets.
Volunteer to host a table
This is a fantastic opportunity for you to support Hope United on Tuesday, November 19th, from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm at Firm Foundation Ministries in Centreville. Gather your friends for a refreshing enjoyable time!
Volunteer to serve at the Extravaganza
It takes a lot of volunteers to make this event happen! There are many ways you can help. Here are just a few:
- Help prepare food
- Help with set up
- Assist with greeting and seating assignments
- Assist with tear down and clean up
Minute of Hope - Sponsorship
Hope United's Minute of Hope is an impactful Campaign that has reached over 73,000 viewers through social media. The purpose of this campaign is to promote hope and healing that can be found for broken lives through the ministries of Hope United. We are looking for companies, churches, or families that are willing to help us promote this campaign by sponsoring a monthly Minute of Hope story. Your company, church, or family would be mentioned in the Minute of Hope video that you sponsor, and your logo or name would also appear in the video or on the campaign sight. Volunteer at Amanda's House by using your own gifts and talents to serve our clients
- Come and cook a meal with our clients and join them for dinner!
- Share a craft or teach our clients a skill such as quilting or crocheting.
- Teach a Bible study or book study at Amanda's House.
- Host a game night on Saturday evening with our ladies.

It's a Wrap - Gift Wrapping Fund Raiser
Are you looking for ways you or your group can give back this Christmas season? Wouldn't you consider hosting an "It's a Wrap" Christmas gift-wrapping event to help support Hope United's many ministries and classes? This is a great way to get involved and have a lot of fun in the process! These events can be held at your church, place of business, or a local shopping center.
What's involved:
- Secure a location to hold your "It's a Wrap" event.
- Set -up dates and times to hold your event.
- Recruit volunteers to assist with the wrapping of gifts.
- Advertise your event (Hope United will assist with this).
- Collect wrapping supplies for the event. (Hope United will assist with this).

Christmas is just around the corner! We anticipate having some pretty awesome baskets and arrangements for you to purchase! Get your shopping started and support a great cause at the same time!
Volunteer at RESET Day Center
RESET exists to build relational bonds with individuals needing help with their lives by empowering and equipping them with the necessary tools for transformational life change and self-sufficiency.
RESET offers assistance with applications and essential documents such as Driver's Licenses/State IDs, Birth Certificates, Social Security Cards, and cell phones.
RESET helps individuals connect with services by assisting them in navigating the MI Bridges website and ensuring they receive the appropriate resources.
Volunteers are needed every Tuesday from 10 to 2 to assist our friends with the above mentioned services. Sometimes, the most valuable thing we can do is be a listening ear and caring friend!

Mentorship – walking alongside others through brokenness providing solutions for healing
Encouragement – inspiring, promoting and empowering others to overcome obstacles
Relationship – offering safe, judgement free accountability while promoting a personal relationship with Christ

Become a Hope United Advocate for your church or organization
- Represent Hope United at your church and encourage your church's involvement by keeping them updated on how they can be involved.
- Create a mentor team from within your own church to connect to those in need in our community.
- Promote fundraising efforts in your church to support Hope United's efforts.
- Serve on Hope United's Ministry Board to help promote the connection of our churches in St. Joseph County and coordinate holistic approaches to helping those in need.
